FAQ

INFO

Why photography?

Photography allows me to be creative on many levels.
I love photographing interesting people, capturing their look,
behaviour, expressions, documenting what they do.

How would you call your photography?

Editorial, modern, environmental and conceptual portrait photography.

Who is your favourite photographer?

Joe McNally, editorial photographer.
I also admire Tom Barnes, Adam Duckworth, Tim Wallace,
Zack Arias, Joey L and many other photographers
who are much better than I am.

What's in your camera bag?

  • Nikon D3

  • Nikon D7000

  • Sigma 15-30mm f3.5-4.5 EX DG

  • Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 EX DG Macro

  • Nikkor 50mm f1.4G

  • Nikkor 80-200mm f2.8 ED

What lighting equipment you use?

I am a huge fan of strobist style lighting.
I always have 4-5 speedlites with me.
It's amazing what these little things can do!
I use softboxes, octaboxes, light panels, umbrellas, stands, clamps, reflectors, gels... too much to list.
I have most of my equipment with me on every shoot
because I like to be prepared for any lighting conditions.

How do you edit your photos?

I am always aiming to get as close to perfection in camera as possible.
For me quality always comes first.
I am using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom software
together with Alien Skin, Nik Software and OnOne plug-ins.

Studio or on location?

I prefer shooting on location but I also like the quality and purity
that I can achieve in the studio.
